Job Overview:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, Start time varies (6:00 - 8:00)
• Pay: 52 - 53 an hour
• No weekends, off major holidays

Job Responsibilities:

• Admits, transfers, and discharges patients.
• Conducts ongoing assessments and documents in the EMR per center policy.
• Contributes to the development of patient care plans, including problems, goals, evaluations, and interventions.
• Coordinates discharge planning and collaborates with the care team.
• Participates in performance improvement activities, analyzing data to maintain quality and achieve desired outcomes.
• Reviews physician orders, assesses diagnostic data, and collaborates with the healthcare team for follow-up.
• Performs preoperative procedures and administers intravenous solutions and medications.
• Provides pre- and post-anesthesia care for adults and pediatrics.
• Monitors cardiac status, intervenes for arrhythmias per ACLS protocols, and evaluates pain using multi-modal management.
• Assists in nerve blocks and provides post-operative anesthesia care.

Requirements:

• Surgery center and Orthopedics experience
• Strong IV experience
• Pre-OP - PACU experience (2 years)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS
